An in-depth look at the Aluca solutions integrated by Worxpace PRO to enhance functionality, durability, and efficiency in mobile workshops.

Worxpace PRO has partnered with trusted suppliers to create mobile workshops to ensure high-quality products. One such partner is Aluca, a German manufacturer known for its vehicle shelving systems.

Unlike cheaper alternatives, Aluca’s aluminum shelves are lighter and more durable. Backed by an 8-year warranty, Aluca systems last through three vehicle lifetimes.

This article provides an in-depth look at the Aluca solutions integrated by Worxpace PRO to enhance functionality, durability, and efficiency in their mobile workshops.

VW Crafter for DeLaval

This Volkswagen Crafter for DeLaval may be small, and the Aluca solution compact, but it still accommodates a great deal. The shelves include cup holders for smaller accessories. From the backdoor, a fold-out worktable can be extended, with a vise that attaches to it. The table can be folded up for travel. At the front, there’s a perforated wall for holding tools. Servicing milking equipment requires many different, specialized tools, so the vehicle is equipped with various drawers, cups, and cases for storage. Shelves at the top are for longer items, while heavier items can be placed lower to help distribute the weight.

MB Vito service van for Rotator Estonia

In the Rotator Estonia Mercedes-Benz Vito, most of the mechanics’ work is outside the vehicle, with drawers and other compartments opening outward. A fold-out worktop with a vise can also be extended from the back doors and folded back up for travel.

Mobile workshop for landscape and maintenance company

We installed perforated aluminum side panels on both sides and the front wall to accommodate the attachment of various accessories.

We installed various aluminum shelving systems and worktops from the German manufacturer Aluca. The aerosol bottle holder accommodates at least 8 units. Above is a shelf for storing longer items. Emphasis has been placed on the placement of various items so that the weight would be equally distributed.

Mobile workshop for a mining company in Angola

This mobile workshop is used in Africa where it is hot and all the work is done inside the workshop which is cooled by air conditioning. All the tools, fluids, fuel, etc. hoses needed for work are inside the workshop. The Aluca solution in this workshop is small and compact, with a drawer box and a worktop, on which various devices such as a drill, etc. can be attached.

Hansa-Flex hydraulics service van

This setup is a mobile workshop in the truest sense. We paid careful attention to weight distribution, as one side features shelves and drawers for numerous hoses, bolts, and other accessories, while tools and equipment were arranged on the opposite side for balance. There are also shelves for storing larger items. Perforated panels for tools and accessories are mounted in several locations, including on the sides, rear doors, and end wall.

Service trailer for forest machinery maintenance

The Estonian company Masinaspets uses this trailer-built mobile workshop for servicing forestry machinery. The client chose the 3.5-ton trailer solution because, with a four-wheel-drive vehicle, they can transport the workshop to any location, even across challenging terrain. This workshop setup is large and complex, divided across both sides. Drawers and a worktable are located on the front wall, and the rear doors are lined with a perforated panel for securing tools. There’s also a paper roll holder, and to distribute weight effectively, heavier items can be stored on the lower shelves, while the upper shelves have space for transporting longer items.

Support truck for a broadcasting company

This is a very large truck capable of holding a substantial amount of equipment, used by the Estonian Broadcasting Company as a support vehicle for broadcasting. From Aluca’s solutions, we installed a compartment of drawers in the crew area of this vehicle.

DAF Rally service truck

A large mobile workshop setup has been installed in this rally service truck. It needs to accommodate a wide variety of spare parts in different sizes and quantities, as well as provide enough space for several mechanics to work inside the vehicle simultaneously. There is storage space under the ceiling for large spoilers and other long items. Drawer compartments and long worktops for multiple people are installed on both sides of the workshop.

Eventtents service truck

Eventtents is an Estonian company that, among other services, specializes in setting up large tents in Norway and other countries. The mobile workshop is used to transport the team and smaller tools. It is designed so that drawers open outward from the vehicle, meaning most work takes place outside the workshop. The setup also includes various cups, boxes, and cases for storing different accessories, as well as a perforated panel for securing tools.

Rotator Oy MB Atego service truck

This large truck is used by Rotator in Finland for servicing heavy machinery across long distances. It features an expansive setup suitable for very cold weather, allowing work to be performed inside the truck. The Aluca shelving and worktop setup is located at the front of the workshop, where there is also a perforated panel for securing tools. This mobile workshop includes an overhead tray with openable flaps for storing extra-long items.

Rotator Estonia service van

In the mobile workshop built on the Sprinter chassis, there are drawers on both sides of the van’s front, with a worktop above the drawers on one side. The front wall also features a perforated panel for securing tools. Additionally, there is a tray mounted under the ceiling on one side for storing larger items. The front section of the van serves as the primary workspace, while the rear part is used for storing oil barrels and includes reels for electrical, air, and oil hoses.

Worxpace PRO service truck

This truck features a spacious setup with workbench tops situated on both sides. Various compartments with drawers, cups, and cases for storing smaller accessories and tools are located on the right side. The upper trays are designed for holding longer tools or materials, while additional materials and equipment can be stored below. All Aluca solutions ensure that items remain securely in place during transit—cups in their holders, drawers closed, and so on. The shelves and trays have openable flaps that allow for easy access to items while keeping them securely in place while driving. The walls of the vertical units are perforated, making it possible to attach tools directly to the walls.

Sundström Oil Change trailer

The oil-change trailer features a separate small space for changing clothes. This space includes an Aluca wardrobe where mechanics can store their work and everyday clothes. Additionally, there is room for two vertical units—one with drawers and the other with cases. Both units can hold smaller accessories, and a workbench top is available for carrying out minor tasks. The larger workspace and bigger tools are located in the trailer’s other, larger section.
