About the project

The customer Hauakivi Gramet OÜ is engaged in the production of tombstones and their installation. A crane with a long reach is required for the work.

Iveco Daily 7.2 t with automatic transmission; shortened wheelbase and bed; modified tailgate; the reach of the Hyva crane is 7.38 m and the maximum lifting capacity is 820 kg.

As the waiting time for the new undercarriage was too long for the customer, he himself found a used undercarriage that was almost new.

Iveco Daily 7.2T specifications: Wheelbase 5100 mm. Automatic transmission, rear air suspension, LED lights, electric parking brake, etc.

Modifications performed on the Hauakivi.ee Iveco service truck:

Shortening the wheelbase by 350 mm (rear axle was moved forward, universal joint shaft was shortened).
The existing bed was shortened by 500 mm and moved backward to fit the crane.
New walls and intermediate posts were made for the truck bed.
Renovation of an existing tailgate (Dhollandia) and installation of a new folding plate.
Construction of an intermediate frame for the crane and installation of the HYVA 31.E3 crane. The reach of the Hyva crane is 7.38 m and the maximum lifting capacity is 820 kg.
